About Me
Hello everybody!! My name is Justine Mortimer & I am christian, holistic birth doula.
I am a mother to two WILD boys, Alex & Brayden, a wife of 10 years, SAHM, and small business owner of 2 amazing businesses.
Our family adores camping and enjoying the lords beautiful creation! We are very strong believers of holistic medicine & "clean" eating. Our bodies are temples that truly deserve to be treated with such care.
When I became pregnant with our second son, I had decided to use a birth doula. A lot of my friends had used a doula and expressed to me that it would be super helpful to me when wanting to achieve a natural birth.
Now, with my first son, I was very medicalized. I followed everything the doctor told me and had no idea you could question ANYTHING they suggest. My labor was your typical labor with an epidural and pit. Of course as I got older though and learned more, I decided I didn't want to do that again! My labor with my second son didn't end completely the way I wanted it too, but for most of the labor we were completely natural!! Having my doula by my side helped make that 100% possible!
After my experience with her, I felt this calling from the lord that this could be something that I could/should do!! I trained with my doula/mentor and also trained with Brittney from Faith Driven Doulas! I am also currently doing a VBAC training.
Hiring a doula is hiring someone to stand in your corner. Someone to walk along side you in this beautiful journey that we were so beautifully created to do! As your doula, I am here to support you physically, emotionally and informationally. I will help advocate with & for you! I am here to help hold pace and educate dad as well. I strive to bring birth back to the way it should be,
